Thursday evening, February 18th, at 7:00, we will be honored to have as our speaker Dr. Thomas Conrad. Mr. Conrad has had a very distinguished career in business and government. From 1981-1984 he served President Ronald Reagan as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force.  As a close friend of the President, Mr. Conrad met with him on many occasions and was with him the day of the attempted assassination. Dr. Conrad was one of the few guests invited to Mr. Regan’s 87th birthday party on the invitation of Nancy Reagan.

Mr. Conrad served as an army officer in both the Pennsylvania National Guard and on active duty with the U. S. Army. He has a commercial pilot’s license and is certified on all sorts of aircraft, including helicopters. He has had a remarkable and long business career in finance and farming. Dr. Conrad will regale us with stories of his years at the White House and comment on the life and character of Ronald Reagan. He will be bringing, among other things,  a manuscript of a speech hand-written by Ronald Reagan.

If you think you will be attending this program, we would appreciate an email to that effect so we can plan the seating.
