Our next gathering will be on Thursday, December 3rd, when Roswell historian Michael Hitt brings a program to Circa entitled “The Roswell Mills and Mill Workers in the Confederacy”. Michael is an army veteran and policeman and an extraordinary historian of the Chattahoochee region. The mills of Roswell played an important role in the Georgia war effort and the workers paid a heavy price when General Sherman and his Union Army visited the area.
