“The purpose of the Roswell Historical Society is to promote the preservation of sources of information concerning the history of Roswell; to collect and/or preserve historical sites, books, manuscripts, charts, maps, and other antiquities deemed worthy of a place in our archives; to arouse in the citizens and friends of Roswell an interest in its history; and to cooperate with other cultural and educational institutions in implanting in the present and future generations pride in Roswell’s history and traditions.”
