“Historic and Critical Thinking Regarding Obama Consequences”
by Don Dickinson

Col. Don Dickinson will bring a program entitled “Historic and Critical Thinking Regarding Obama Consequences.” Don is used to addressing Colonels and Generals in his regular teaching duties but has agreed to take time out from schedule for The Circa History Guild. He agrees with our mission and has been supportive since we first met.

Don Dickinson is a retired US Army Colonel of Infantry who has for more than 40 years studied the history, human nature, philosophy, values, critical thinking, conservatism, and leadership that have built Western civilization and its current American spear point. He firmly believes that excellent answers to all the problems America has, are already known but that as a people we have lost the leadership-inspired courage to acknowledge what needs to be done and get on with it. He is unabashedly proud of America, politically incorrect, loves to argue in the Greek tradition, thinks specialization is for insects, and believes we must strive for comprehensive understanding of the emergent properties of our unprecedentedly complex and dangerous world. He believes too many Americans have forgotten or never learned the fact that it is through reinforcing success, rather than fixating on remedies for failure, that man moves forward.

Don and his wife Debby have two adult daughters and live in Peachtree City.
