- Thursday night, July 23rd at 7:00pm - “Southern Africa at a Glance” by Robert Zins
-

Thursday night, July 23rd at 7:00, The Circa History Guild will welcome Mr. Robert Zins to present a program entitled “Southern Africa at a Glance: From Theories About Human Origins to Politics of the Stomach.” Mr. Zins, after graduating from the Virginia Military Institute and serving ten years in the Air Force, has since dedicated his life to teaching on Christian Worldview issues in several African states, especially, Angola, Malawi, Mozambique and Zambia. He has ministered to the needs of thousands of refugees from Angola and has taught seminars to church and government groups of Southern Africa on the practical outworking of a Christian worldview in family, culture, and politics.Bob and I have been friends since the early 90s and I would suggest that his unique and sacrificial efforts for African Christians have few parallels in history. A resident of South Africa but a member of Calvary Reformed Presbyterian Church in Newport News, Virginia, Bob brings a perspective very few Americans have heard, but need to be aware of. The work is sometimes dangerous, he is rarely in this country, you need to attend.
Sincerely,
Bill Potter
