Saturday, June 13th at 1:00pm - “The Art of Hand-Bookbinding” by Kyle Shepherd

We have an unique and interesting presentation on Saturday afternoon June 13th, starting at 1:00. Sixteen year old Kyle Shepherd will be demonstrating the art of hand-bookbinding that he has developed. Kyle is the oldest of nine children who live on thirty acres in Brierfield, AL. He is building a fine library that he hopes to use one day to teach his own children. Kyle is more than 900 pages into a book I recommended to him a short while ago. He bound a book for me last year and I treasure it. For some time now we have been trying to get him back to Circa to show us how he does it. We hope he will be able to play a part in our own book publishing efforts.
