Saturday, March 21 Dutch Van Kirk, Navigator of the Enola Gay, at Circa

On Saturday at 3:00 p.m., March 21st, Dutch Van Kirk will present a program entitled “The Enola Gay and The Dropping Of The Atom Bomb”
Dutch was the navigator on the B-29, Enola Gay, when it dropped the bomb on Hiroshima, an act that led to the capitulation of Japan in WWII. Mr. Van Kirk lives in Metro-Atlanta and is a well-known lecturer and expert on America’s air war in the Pacific. He enjoys handling questions about the crew and the missions of that storied plane.
