Aviator Bob “Punchy” Powell will be with us again to talk about life in the air as a combat pilot flying P-51s in WWII. Everyone who got to hear Punchy last year has said how unforgettable his presentation was. Punchy was one of the “Little Friends” that bomber pilot Jimmie Stewart appreciated so much. A scrappy West Virginia native, Punchy has lost none of his fervor. He is the author of two books of memoirs, one of which we will have copies for sale.
